1997-es Pollock Alapítvány ösztöndíjam után az itthoni Adóhatóság most 1,1 millió büntetőadót rótt ki rám, tévesen. A Pénzügyminisztérium törölné is a dolgot, egy feltételt szabtak, kérjek az Pollocktól egy igazolást. Kértem, ajánlott levélben, május 11-én, nem válaszoltak. Ez már máskor is megesett, faxommal is, ezért meglehetősen aggódom.

Megtennéd, hogy telefonon megérdeklődnéd, mi a helyzet a levelemmel?

Én 97-ben Claudia Stillwell-el leveleztem, akkor még a Park Avenue 725-ben voltak.

I, the undersigned, Dezső Váli, having my residency address at Margit krt. 64/B, 1027 Budapest, Hungary, hereby request the Honourable Board for its assistance as follows:

Whereas, I received an amount of USD 10,000 from your Foundation in 1997, I hereto enclose the application and the certificate justifying the occurrence of the wire transfer of the aforesaid amount.

I kindly request you to issue a declaration to be used for official purposes with the following text and send it to me by return mail:

"I hereby certify that the POLLOCK-KRASNER Foundation does not issue (has not issued) any certificate concerning payments (non-pecuniary allowance) effected for the benefit of the Foundation, wich entitles its holder to claim back deductions from the personal income tax or the tax base."
